This interesting archaeological site is managed by English Heritage and overlooks the beautiful Severn Valley in the glorious Gloucestershire countryside. The long barrow has been partly reconstructed and is a Neolithic chambered mound that measures around thirty-seven metres in length. The historic burial ground is often referred to as ‘Hetty Pegler’, named after the 17th Century owner of this land.
