Beginning in the busy market town of Winchcombe, the Windrush Way winds along the banks of the River Windrush to Bourton-on-the-Water, the Cotswold's most visited village. On its 13-mile journey it passes by the village of Naunton, with its famous Dovecot and the lost medieval village of Lower Harford. At Bourton-on-the-water, the Windrush Way connects with the Warden's Way, forming a loop back to Winchcombe.
