Winster Market House was built between the late 17th and early 18th Century and has been in the hands of the National Trust since the beginning of the 20th Century. It was the first acquisition of the Trust in the Peak District, and represents a beautiful example of a trading hall from this period. A scale model of the village of Winster is one of the internal highlights of the property, as well as an information room filled with interesting facts about the area.
