One of the cities greatest landmarks, Worcester Cathedral stands in an imposing riverside location today as it has done for over fourteen centuries. It was a favourite concert venue of Edward Elgar and King John is buried within the building walls. Tours are available every day and take you around to see the Royal tombs, medieval cloisters, ancient crypt and ancient Chapter House. They also tell you the story behind the magnificent Victorian stained glass.
The medieval library is not to be missed and the views from the tower are simply breathtaking.
