Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem was built in 1189 and is officially the oldest public house in the country. The pub is still working, although it does house a small museum that is dedicated to the history of this establishment and the industry from the 12th Century onwards. The collection is made up of interesting documents, accounts, original drawings, sketches and testimonies of people who visited the building in the past.
