This castle was once known as ‘The Castle of Gloom’ which when you look at the fantastic architecture, it is very hard to see how that was justified. The beautiful building features a 15th Century well preserved tower at its heart as one of the main features. The gardens that surround the castle are a fine place to spend a day with the family, soaking up the pastoral splendour.
