Inverness Museum and Gallery was completely refurbished in 2007 and offers an exiting and engaging collection related to the history of the community and the Highlands of Scotland. The ground floor is mainly focussed around Scottish geology and natural history, particularly focusing on the archaeological heritage of the Highlands. The upstairs displays are more interested in recent history, the Jacobites, Inverness silverware and authentic Highland weapons, plus much more.
