The bustling and vibrant city of Inverness is located in the North of Scotland and is easily accessible via a variety of transport links. It dates back to the 6th Century AD and has a rich and fascinating history and is in close proximity to where the famous Battle of Culloden took place. The city is home to Inverness Cathedral dedicated to St Andrew.

  Latest Inverness Review

I've visited Inverness a number of times and what always strikes me is despite the size of the place, Inverness never feels like a big place.

The whole town seems very welcoming, clean and tidy with friendly people lots of rather good bars and restaurants, especially those just outside the city centre.

Testament to the ancient nature of Inverness is the Inverness Castle, although the original building was apparently knocked down in the 11th Century, and Inverness Museum gives a good history of the city.
