The harbour in Oban is the real heart of this West Highland town. As the main ferry terminus for Mull, Colonsay, Coll, Tiree, Lismore, Barra and South Uist, Oban is always a busy, bustling place. If you’re staying in Oban, you may be lucky enough to see one of the stunning sunsets from the harbour. The Corran Esplanade is great for walking along, simply to enjoy the sea air or watch the boats and ferries come in. Fishing and boat trips are available, including special trips to view the seals.
