In the heart of the beautiful Scottish Highlands is the town of Spean Bridge. it was named after the High Bridge, crossing the Spean, built by General Wade. The bridge partly collapsed in 1913. The picturesque village is a popular tourist destination and the A82, Roybridge, Kingussie and Aviemore are within easy reach. The nearby forest is dense and peaceful and is a haven for walkers, it is also features the northern face of Ben Nevis.
