The West Highland Way is a marvellous long distance route which runs from the outskirts of Glasgow to Fort William in the Highlands. It’s 152km long in total and quickly leads you away from the hustle and bustle to walk by the wooded shores of Loch Lomond. From there the Way, which takes typically eight days to complete, heads onto higher ground, crossing by the remote Rannoch Moor before a welcome finish under the shadow of Ben Nevis.
