The 1907 Monument is a striking piece of architecture that you cannot help but notice when you enter Wandle Park from the Colliers Wood entrance. The monument was gifted to the borough in 1907 by several local philanthropists as a water fountain that local people and visitors could drink from. The fountain is still used today and is a beautiful feature of the park.
