The Africa Centre was established as a forum for some of the great writers, politicians and musicians of Africa to have a stage in the centre of London. Essentially the centre seeks to promote integration and understanding between the nations of Africa and the rest of the world. There are many books, documents, artefacts and paintings on display that visitors are encouraged to browse through.
