There is little doubt that Tennyson's poetry is some of the most famous in the English language. He lived a great deal of his life in the centre of London i this famous old house. Tennyson was poet laureate directly after William Wordsworth and followed in his footsteps as a great writer. Tennyson is associated with a great many works of 19th Century poetry although he is probably best remembered for his masterpiece In Memoriam A.H.H.
