The Angel Sculpture was created as a piece of public art work for the Angell Town area of Brixton in south London. It was commissioned by the local authority and unveiled by a selection of local councillors in 1999. The exhibit was the product of the Angell Town Youth Project which worked closely with young people and local artists in a consulting role to make this wonderful sculpture that stands at the heart of the suburb.
