Second only to the Oscars, the BAFTA awards are one of the most important film and television award ceremonies held in the world. The British Academy of Film and Television Arts is the organisation behind the awards and are one of the central driving forces behind British film. Their headquarters at 195 Piccadilly is not only an administrative space but also a gallery and cinema which displays private and sometimes public screenings of films.
