Balham Mosque stands within a beautiful old Victorian town house on the main shopping street in the busy multi-ethnic cultural melting pot that is the community of Balham in south London. The house was converted to a mosque in the 1980s and since then has been the principal place of worship for the Muslim community of Balham. The building has distinctive green pirouettes and beautiful internal décor.
