Bankside Gallery is located just off the Queen's Walk on the south bank of the River Thames close to the Royal Festival Hall. The gallery is home to the Royal Watercolour Society and the Royal Society of Painter and Printmakers. The societies combined have an illustrious history dating back almost two hundred years. The exhibits on show are mainly by the members of the society although the gallery also regularly hosts visiting works from around the world.
