Battersea High Street Market is an institution in South London. Situated at the crossroads between York Road that leads out of London and close to the major railway interchange at Clapham Junction, this spot has had significance as a trading point for centuries. Recently the area has undergone renovations and now hosts one of the finer fruit and vegetable markets in the area every weekend. Much of the produce comes direct from the nearby New Covent Garden Market.
