Battersea Park is one of the largest and most diverse of London’s inner city parks. Situated beside the river Thames it’s a popular spot for locals and tourists alike. It has a boating lake, small zoo and cultured gardens as well as numerous large grass areas, which are used for sports, fetes and fairs in the summer months. Regular music and charity events are staged in the park. It is a peaceful and tranquil place through the autumn and winter, popular with dog walkers and joggers.
