Beckenham War Memorial is a large stone statue that stands at the centre of a busy intersection on one of the main roads that passes by Beckenham. The monument was constructed to honour the great sacrifices that were made by many people in the area during the 20th Century and the great wars that ravaged the world at that time. The memorial commemorates the lost men on the battlefield and the bravery they showed in those dark days of Europe.
