Blackheath Pond has been one of the most beautiful features of Blackheath for many generations. Situated on the edge of the heath, close to the town of Blackheath, the pond has for a long time been a traditional place of meeting for the people of the area. In more recent times the area has developed into a tourist attraction and simply a place of rest and relaxation away from the busy streets of the town.
