The Bloomsbury Central Baptist Church is one of the major Baptist churches in central London, and has a reputation for powerful and emotive preaching. The church is also highly concerned with social issues, and has a particular interest in helping students. The church welcomes local and international students to participate in church events and music. The church was extensively refurbished in 1999, and has a number of rooms available for hire to organisations that wish to hold events at the church. Regular events include jazz concerts and social lunches.
