The Regent's Park Boating Lake is a vast body of water that takes up a great deal of the western side of the Royal Park. The lake is primarily used for boating and there are several places you can hire a rowing boat if you wish to take a turn around the park in style. However the lake is also equipped with a large beach area where deck chairs are for hire and during the warmer months this is one of the most popular places in the park as people go swimming and then sit and bake in the sun.
