Brentford War Memorial stands solemnly outside the main library in the town in a small area of parkland that is sheltered by shady trees. The memorial commemorates those lost during both the First and Second World Wars from the area of Brentford. It also serves as a celebration of the courage of all those who fought for the basic rights that we take for granted in this country today.
