The Local Studies Centre examines the long and rich history of this interesting area that lies on the border between Kent and Greater London. There has been a settlement in this area for many centuries and these archives of maps, texts and pictures helps to tell the story of the politics and the people of Bromley throughout the years. The centre is owned and managed by the local authority and is open throughout the year.
