Brunswick Square is a small public garden within the area of Bloomsbury, and many interesting and important buildings surround it. These include the Brunswick Centre shopping area, which is currently being refurbished, and the Foundling Museum. In fact, the square was originally part of the grounds of the Foundling hospital. One side of the square is looked over by the large International Hall, which provides accommodation for many foreign students attending University College London.
