The Carnegie Arts Centre and Library is just one of many beautiful facilities that the great philanthropist Andrew Carnegie paid to have built across the nation. The gallery houses a fine collection of paintings that have a theme associated closely with the local area and the many artists who have visited and been inspired by it. The library is open to the public and carries many interesting and historic titles.
