This fine building has been the home to the English Folk Dance and Song Society for over a hundred years. The society which holds regular open days at the building is committed to defending and protecting the major English dances and songs that are gradually being forgotten by the mists of time. The centre hosts workshops and seminars on all aspects of English dance and song as well as providing an administrative centre for the society.
