This church is a fine example of Victorian ecclesiastical architecture. Designed by James William Wild, the church has been created with as much care internally as on the interesting façades that grace the outside. It was constructed as the principle place of worship for the people of Streatham and the area around Brixton Hill. It has become one of the central social meeting places for Christians in this area of London.
