These 17 hectares of landscaped gardens are an oasis of calm in the middle of Bromley town centre. Containing a large lake, several rose gardens, a gazebo, a number of rock gardens and various woodland areas, the gardens were originally two separate sites, but became one following a series of bombing raids during the Second World War that destroyed all of the buildings between the parks. There is also a wide variety of wildlife to be found, including squirrels and ducks that are happy to be fed by hand.
