Croydon Athletic Football Club is one of the newest football clubs in the country, having not formed until 1986. It was the result of a merger between Norwood Football Club and Wandsworth Football Club. Since its foundation, the club has cemented itself as one of the contenders in the upper reaches of non-league football and enjoys a large local support. The club plays games at its home stadium roughly once every ten days during the football season.
