Dante Rossetti, despite his Italian sounding name was in fact an English poet, writer, artist and illustrator who lived much of his life in this fantastic Chelsea town house. Rossetti was one of the bright stars of the early to mid Victorian art scene and painted some of the best known works of the day, many of which are exhibited in London galleries.
