One of the quieter districts of Brent East, Dollis Hill is made up of the streets surrounding Gladstone Park. The park opened in 1899 and was named in honour of four-time Prime Minister William Gladstone, a frequent visitor to the area, who had died the year before. The top of the hill affords a splendid view of the giant steel arch at Wembley stadium.
