This ancient woodland runs for about a mile and a half between Beckenham Palace Park and Hither Green Nature Reserve. The woodland walk was established as a way of opening this piece of historical London up to people who have an interest in plants and animals. The walk works in conjunction with the Green Chain Walk which passes through on its way across the suburbs.
