Dulwich Village is the name of the street that passes through the centre of what is one of the oldest villages in London. First recorded in 967 AD, it is also one of Southwark's first conservation areas. This main street retains a village feel with period houses on all sides and, at its centre, a pretty paved area with a memorial fountain dedicated to Dr George Webster, founder of the British Medication Association.
