Edward Frederick Benson was an influential writer of the late Victorian age and early 20th Century. He lived in this beautiful house in the fantastic garden square of Brompton Square at the heart of Kensington. Benson was known by his friends as 'Fred' and wrote some of the best known short stories of his age.
