The Fashion and Textile Museum in Bermondsey was founded by Zandra Rhodes, and is the first museum in London to solely concentrate on the fashion industry. The museum holds two or three major exhibitions a year, as well as running an education and outreach programme. The building itself is an architectural masterpiece, and is the first building in Europe to be designed by the world-renowned architect Ricardo Legorreta, in collaboration with Alan Camp architects.
