An oasis of landscaped green in the hustle and bustle of the city, Finsbury Circus Garden provides an idea spot for a lunchtime picnic thanks to dozens of public benches. In the centre of the garden lies a beautifully maintained bowling green, where you can book a game, and a bandstand where public jazz concerts are played in summer. The garden is the oldest public park in London and dates back to 1606, featuring on the English Heritage register as one of the most important public spaces in the capital.
