Fred Wells Gardens is a medium-sized public park close to the River Thames at the heart of he south London suburb of Battersea. The park has a good selection of facilities that include an open access tennis court that is free to the public. There is also a large children’s playground for younger kids. The park has some large open grass areas that are used during the summer months for impromptu ball games. Many choose to simply sit and relax in the area.
