This fine statue of George I is one of the best images of the king on open display in the country. Located at the end of Cockspur Street near to Trafalgar Square the statue attracts nterest from the many visitors to the capital who pass it. George I was a celebrated king of England and was closely associated with the Germans, hence the House of Hanover was born.
