Gloucester Road is one of the arterial roads running through the busiest area of South Kensington. The road is well known across the capital as one of the most interesting and eclectic shopping streets outside of central London. The area also offers a wide range of restaurants and bars with a global theme representing the ethnically diverse community that surrounds the area. There is a special Portuguese theme as Kensington has the largest Portuguese population outside Lisbon.
