Gordon Square
Bloomsbury, London WC1 - England, UK

Map
One of Bloomsbury’s most attractive green squares, Gordon Square was developed by Thomas Cubitt in the 1820s as one of a pair with nearby Tavistock Square. Originally intended for the private use of residents of the square, today it belongs to the University of London and is open to the public. University buildings surround the square; in this view facing north, the Institute of Archaeology can be seen in the background.
