This grand old house on the River Thames has a long and illustrious history. It has been home to two notable Londoners in the past century in an area that is famous for producing and cultivating some of the nations greatest minds. Hillaire Belloc the British poet, historian and essayist lived in the house in the late 19th Century, as did world-renowned artist Walter Greave for several decades. The house is well worth a visit because of its history and beautiful location.
