The Greenwich Hindu Temple is actually located in Plumstead, the name referring to the London Borough rather than the town of Greenwich which is a few miles along the river. The temple is one of the main Hindu places of worship in this area of south east London and acts as a place for Hindus to pray together and give thanks as well as being a place of meeting for the local Hindu community.
