This is the oldest of London’s royal parks, dating back to 1433. There are two rugby pitches, a cricket field, tennis courts, a putting green, boating pond, and paths for cycling and jogging. The hilltop provides excellent views of the Thames and the Docklands. A large grassland enclosure is home to deer, foxes and other wildlife. Plays, concerts, floral demonstrations and guided walks are just a few of the regularly scheduled events.
