The Houses of Parliament, also known as the Palace of Westminster, includes the House of Commons and the House of Lords, not to mention the infamous Big Ben. Edward the Confessor had the original palace built in the eleventh Century. All visitors can visit galleries in both houses to see Parliament at work. The busiest time to visit is during ’Question Time’ for which you must book a ticket through your MP or embassy.
