The HQS Wellington is owned by the Honourable Company of Master Mariners (HCMM). The HCMM bought the sloop ship in 1947, and converted her into a floating Livery Hall. The ship has been berthed at Victoria Embankment for many years, apart from a number of months in 1991 when the boat was fully refurbished. The boat is still used as a Livery Hall, and the company’s many artefacts can be viewed within its restored interior. The boat is also available for hire for private functions, including business meetings, parties and wedding receptions.
