James Anthony Froude lived much of his adult life in this fine old town house in the secluded location of Onslow Gardens at the heart of South Kensington. One of the great academics of the 19th Century, Froude was a historian of some note. His research and writings are still well regarded by the world historical community today as he was thorough and insightful in his work.
