Map
Jawaharlal Nehru is without doubt one of the most famous names in the history of the great sub-continent of India. Nehru was not only the first Prime Minister of India after it gained independence from Britain but he was one of the key figures in the independence movement, alongside Mahatma Ghandi. Nehru studied at Cambridge and lived in London a great deal of his early life before returning to his native India.
